Made it to Rule 18 in The Password Game. That was fun, and I learnt about algebraic chess notation. 🧩

Now that PHP isn’t part of MacOS anymore, I had to decide between using Homebrew or MacPorts. I opted for the latter. It does require sudo, and manually downloading the Xcode Command Line Tools – I guess because I’m still on Monterey – but it allows switching among multiple PHP versions. 💻

This affectionate little thing looks like he’s been in some scraps. 🐱

Brought out the AeroPress this morning, as a change from the V60. Mostly followed James Hoffmann’s AeroPress technique using Colombian light-roasted beans and a 15g/250ml ratio. ☕️

Very pleasantly surprised to find this PowerBook G4 sitting open in an electronics store today, as a display piece. It was such a handsome machine for the time, ~20 years ago. 💻
